Nice inn, like in the past. Simple rooms, quiet and clean. Several types of beer on offer and very tasty food. Price performance fits. There are plenty of hiking trails from Gößweinstein. We would love to come back.

Unfortunately, according to the waiter, it is impossible to deliver the food at the same time when there is a lot of traffic. 30 minutes difference between the meals was too long for us. Food okay not particularly

Eternal waiting times. Poor service. Waited 1h for veal schnitzel with fries. Drinks 20 minutes or not at all. The beer garden wasn't particularly full. TOO BAD!

Not worth a recommendation. A total mess with the waiters and an even bigger one in the kitchen. A friendly waiter and a totally annoyed waitress. Empty glasses are cleared from the table with the question of whether you want something else, but the desired drink only comes after asking the friendly waiter again. It didn't just happen to us. Guests who came after us had their meal more like us, but always one after the other. Dinner together was out of the question. When my husband asked about our meal, the kitchen got hectic. My husband got his meal and I watched him. When he finished, I canceled my meal after an hour and a half. My husband had his meal in an hour. Unfortunately that was the case at many tables, one was ready, then the other got his meal.

The conditions were annoying and overwhelmed, it took up to an hour to get the food. The drinks took 20 minutes or you still got it. On the whole a simple disappointment

Enjoy your meal. Was there with family (5 people), didn't have to wait long, even though the beer garden was full. Toilets clean too. Service very friendly.

We were eating at the inn. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. Contrary to some other reviews, we didn't wait long for the food. We would love to come back.

The beer garden is attractive, but although it wasn't that busy, we waited a long time for the service. The meals didn't come together, they really came one after the other. Tastes good.

Long waiting times in the beer garden although only half the seats due to Corona. In addition, the room was only straightened once on 4 days. At first we thought about the rest day, but nothing happened the next day either. Since we left anyway a day later, we have not reported anything more. The boss of the house, who also runs the kitchen, is obviously a bit overwhelmed.

Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with this inn either. The wait was very long and I had long since finished eating and my wife still had nothing. When asked, we got the harsh answer that this was a beer garden and you couldn't serve there at the same time. The dishes were tasty, but that's not how it works. Not a second time?

We spontaneously wanted to have dinner in the beer garden and "unfortunately" got a free seat. Waiting times of over an hour for food are absolutely unacceptable. At the neighboring tables, too, the guests had to wait a long time for the meal and eat “with a time delay”. Some of the guests had already cleared the empty plates while the other table neighbors had not even been brought their food.

While traveling by bike, I stayed at the Franconian Switzerland inn for one night. A cozy and clean room, very moderate prices and a delicious breakfast. The operators were very friendly. I can only recommend it all around.

For lunch we stopped at said inn. It took a good 20 minutes until we were even served. Another 20 minutes passed until we were served a glass of water and a coke (when asked again). (Other tables went back after they were not served even though the outside area was only half occupied) Already noticed unpleasant, they made an extra big berth around our table. Allegedly there would be no menus. Only snacks are offered for lunch. This absolutely lovelessly prepared meal was brought to us after almost an hour. Without butter / lard or other side dishes for dry sausage bread. When asked, the only answer was that a bread plate is like that. No effort whatsoever to satisfy the guest even remotely. The highlight was the accounting. The amount to be paid was independently rounded up by a tip. There was no answer to our reported dissatisfaction. A shrug of the shoulders combined with walking away and shaking the head were the only reactions. Because of this experience I cannot recommend anyone to come here.

Portions and taste alright. However, we sometimes had to wait a long time for the food. One hour after the order came the last meal. Prices are very cheap. The staff is friendly. The toilets are functional.

Was here for a week at the end of september 2017. Was very satisfied, nice big room. The included breakfast was fine. The restaurant is also highly recommended. The food is regional and tasty. I will book for the next holiday again the inn Franconian Switzerland.
